Very sturdy, looks great, actually kicks off some heat! Love this fire pit! I love the size and shape (larger than other fire pits I have seen- deeper too, almost like a cauldron) you can actually have a decent fire in this! Love that it is cast iron so it wont look terrible in a year. The legs so far are very sturdy, no tipping worries. Splendid Cast-Iron Fire Pit = this is the BEST one. This is an excellent fire pit. It works in a splendid manner and is safe for the general public.
