Great quality! The biggest concern when buying hardware for outdoor use is rust. The parts included in this shade sale installation kit appear to be all stainless steel. Further, they are esthetically pleasing and great quality. If you were to buy the parts separately in SS, the cost would likely be double that of the kit. Not exactly “Everything you need to hang a square shade sail”.
WORTH the PRICE Really glad I bought this kit with the Shade Sail. I still had to buy good wood screws and washers but this kit saved me hours of work. I measured the length of the Shade Sail and installed the 2 “U” diamond plates to the side of the house, attached the Carbineer to those and the corners of the Shade Sail, then I attached the other 2 “U” diamond plates to two raised wood 4 x 4’s that were mounted to the outer corners of my deck, then took the two turn buckles placed one on each…
