Great for the money. I bought a set of spyderco stones because the finishes left by my DMT stones were too rough (even the 1200 and 8000 grit stones). Equivalent to about 800 grit (or so I hear), this stone removes metal fairly quickly (not as fast as diamond, obviously), but leaves a smoother finish compared to the same grit in diamond. The spyderco stones are noticeably not flat, but are fine for most applications, and can be lapped flat on a diamond stone if you’re willing to put in the time. Other than that,…
