Does NOT match desciption, incomplete hardware. This review is written by Marci’s husband who ordered and installed this item. I am thoroughly disappointed in this product and at some point will have to replace it. The material is not as it appeared in the image, which shows a tan product that is porous, thus providing shade while allowing water to pass through when it rains. The actual material is a medium yellow and virtually nonporous. Water pools inside the folds of the shade (drawn back or not), and when it dries or is cleared with a…
Directions are vague but not to difficult to install.
Hardware Doesn’t Support Weight When Wet The product is as described. However, only one week after we installed the shades (using a professional contractor to perform the installation using the hardware that came with the shades), one shade has already fallen down. It appears that the screws that came with the shades are not sufficiently long or strong to hold the weight of the shade when rainwater gets in them. That is, rainwater gets into the folds of the shade even when it is fully retracted (as suggested by the instructions)…
