this awning has to be assembled, in the ad it is not stated that it is not an assembled unit. first thing, this unit is not in one piece, it has to be assembled. i had a stroke a few years ago. i was able to assemble most of the unit by myself. you will need help to mount the unit. the unit has a very long cord. 14 to 15 foot long. the motor is very quiet. if you have winds over 15 mph. you will get the fabric flopping around a lot. i suggest as i did i used tarp clips and bungy cords to keep it from flopping around. keeps the fabric taut. i used bungy cords to hold the arms from…
No support from aleko I used Youtube videos to assemble the awning as well as the instructions that came with it. It was not too difficult, but it has a lot of pieces and it is important to follow the instructions precisely. My awning was missing some parts and Aleko sent them to me immediatly. I also ordered the motorized version with a wind/sun sensor. I had to contact support a couple of times to get better instructions for programming the motor and remote control, but they responded within 24 hours each time…
