I would love to give these chairs five stars I would love to give these chairs five stars. Truly I would. They look fabulous. However, there were issues that were the result of simple sloppiness. I purchased six. Three went together beautifully. The other three went together with a hammer and leather punch and expletives. Seriously. The chairs are very lovely- great design, comfortable Yes, the chairs are very lovely- great design, comfortable, pretty much all the positive comments that other’s have written about them. And yes, sorry to say, the hardware: screws & washers do rust. I assembled the chair (easy= 10 minutes), cleaned it with mild soap & water, hosed it off, let it air dry in the sun, put it in the garage overnight, and sure enough, the next day the rust was evident; pretty much on every screw.
