Great fan, just needs a better mounting bracket Pumps out a ton of air and the fan itself isn’t that loud. The mounting bracket isn’t shaped very well to mount to a single stud (you might catch 2 out of 3 screws in a stud), so I just cut a 2×4 to mount the bracket to, and screwed the 2×4 to the stud.. At full left turn mine rattles for 1-2 seconds straight out of the box. I’m fairly bummed about that, but shipping it back over that seems like a waste of time and money. Great fan, easy installation with slight modifcation So after reading many reviews I decided to give this fan a try. It is a great product , excellent air flow, easy to assemble and isn’t too loud but gives a perfect “white noise” effect. But also taking into account what others have said, the installation kit is a bit tricky, its not as easy as just screwing into the wall on one stud.
