No Assembly This set is lightweight and easy to move and best of all no assembly! I bought two more wicker chairs with armrests separately for each end and more seating. Table is not huge. You cannot fit a bunch of plates and cups and then put a lot of stuff such as platters of food in the middle. But I have a separate outdoor buffet table. I like it a lot. However, I left the table outside for an entire year, during a storm where my fence partially flew away, and during the heat of summer. The wicker on the table began to break off.
