It works, but everything about it is big and clunky. The canopy is huge and ugly to hide the massive control. We ziptied the control on top of the fan motor so we could use our original canopy. This cheat works for us since our fan is on a short rod close to the ceiling, hiding the bobo control. This wouldn’t work on a vaulted ceiling near a balcony since the top of the motor would be visible. The remote is as big as a tv remote! We have other light/fan remotes that aren’t much bigger than…
