Well worth it! I have brought several weighted umbrella stands. I live in Texas and we have inclement weather always. The wind picks up out of nowhere. My umbrellas kept ending up in the pool or up against the fence. So every time the wind starts blowing I’m in a panic to put the umbrellas down. I found this product and I didn’t use sand, I used small pea gravel. I was afraid if they blew into my pool sand would be a huge mess. Anyway the gravel worked out perfect. My husband forgot to put the umbrellas down…
Good Item I like it, and yes, it’s heavy. I found what I think is an easier method of filling rather than what’s on the web site.I put the canvas on the umbrella base “before” filling it….just turned the base sideways and put a can under the insert to hold it at the right level.Then filled the open velcro opening. After filling and spreading the sand out, I sealed it and just turned it over. It slides on the porch easily and I avoided having to lift the heavy item and avoided…
