Great product. There is a Trick to it! Ok so I bought this for my Dad’s glass table. Buying this product in store was expensive so I wanted a cheaper option. He tried putting it in and it was impossible to put in the table. The plastic is so tough it wasn’t flexible to be able to put in the table to fit. Great product ~~ So happy I found these patio table hole replacement caps and grommets. Perfect in every way, however, there are no instructions and there should be. The grommet part is very rigid and so it gives the impression that it will not fit into the hole, BUT, the answer to that is to soak the grommet in some extremely hot to boiling water for about 5 minutes and the grommet becomes pliable and easy to work into the hole. I used these on glass tables and they were a bit hard to get into the hole, especially because I was afraid I might crack the glass. I also thought I would crack the rings. I did get them all in on several tables that needed to have them replaced with no breakage though! Don’t be afraid to flex the rings a bit in your hands to soften and make them more pliable – they are pretty durable. Once in, they do fit a little looser than the original ring inserts but it’s still better than having a…
