An easy fill spout on each base plate makes for convenient filling, cleaning, and storage. fter it is filled with sand they weigh in at 50 lbs. The base (without the umbrella pole sleeve) is for use with umbrellas that are in a table. The stand is for use with 6′ or 7 1/2′ umbrellas that are freestanding. Both the base and stand will accommodate umbrella poles up to 1 1/2″ in diameter.

I like the item. I have a beach umbrella that you can push into the ground, but I wanted an umbrella holder for the deck. You can put water or sand in the container. I ordered two of these items.The instructions were not clear about the flat plate screwing into the bottom of the tube, it wasn’t mentioned or listed on the paper that list what you should have in the package. Plus one package had all the attachments that you should have, the other package didn’t. I guess whomever is checking to…
